2, Usage and characteristics:
OBA 199 powder is very suitable for whitening and brightening polyester fibers. It has a good whitening effect on plastic products such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and engineering plastic ABS. Adding ER fluorescent whitening agent powder during the processing of polyester chips and recycled polyester chips can significantly improve product quality. It is also widely used in the paint industry.
OBA 199 powder belongs to the class of stilbene compounds, which are insoluble in water and non-ionic. This product is prepared into a 20% emulsion by adding various additives, which is used for whitening polyester fibers in the printing and dyeing industry. It has extremely high fluorescence intensity and whiteness, with a sun fastness of 4-5 levels and a wash fastness of up to 4-5 levels.
3, Usage:
When whitening powder is directly used for synthetic plastics, first mix OBA 199 powder with additives such as titanium dioxide and toner in a certain proportion and set aside. Wash and dry polyester chips or plastic sheets, put them into a melting machine, and then add the already mixed whitening powder to the polyester chips in a quantity of 0.02-0.08% (weight ratio to polyester). Mix thoroughly at 80-120 ℃, and continue to heat up to 240-280 ℃ for melting and drawing.
2. Prepare a 20% emulsion using ER whitening powder for whitening and brightening polyester fibers or blended fabrics in printing and dyeing. The amount of pad dyeing is 1.5-3 grams per liter (maximum ≤ 5 grams per liter); Dip dyeing is 0.2-0.8% (o.w. f) {maximum ≤0.8% (o.w. f)}. Temperature 180-200 ℃, bake for 30-40 seconds.
