Crosslinking agent TAIC
Chemical name: triallyl isocyanurate
Cas No: 1025-15-6
Molecular formula: C12H15N3O3
Molecular weight: 249.27
Structural formula:
Solubility: Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alkanes, fully soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, ethanol, halogenated hydrocarbons and cyclopentene.
Toxicity: Oral LD50 = 660mg / kg (nearly non-toxic) for TAIC homopolymer and vinyl monomers and copolymers of TAIC cross-linked products are drug-free
Uses: A multifunctional olefin monomer containing aromatic heterocycles, widely used as a crosslinking agent for various thermoplastics, ion exchange resins, special rubbers, modifiers and vulcanization aids, ternary or binary Adhesives, fluoroelastomers, CPE, EVA and other special rubbers are vulcanized with TAIC as an auxiliary vulcanizing agent (combined with DCP, the general dosage is DCP 0.2% -1%, TAIC1-3%) can significantly shorten the vulcanization time and improve the product machinery Resistance, heat resistance, weather resistance and solvent resistance.
Packaging, storage and transportation: PVC inner bag, paper-plastic outer bag, net weight 25 kg each, stored and transported as non-toxic and non-dangerous goods, avoiding high temperature and exposure.
